The West African Postgraduate College of Natural and Integrative Medicine (WAPGCNIM) is a pioneering institution dedicated to advancing healthcare by integrating evidence-based natural and conventional medical practices. We train a new generation of healthcare professionals skilled in a holistic, patient-centered approach to wellness and disease management. In partnership with our teaching hospital, we are committed to research, education, and delivering high-quality integrative healthcare services across the West African sub-region.

Aims & Objectives

• Train and certify specialists in natural and integrative medicine.
• Promote research into natural and traditional medicine to validate efficacy and safety.
• Establish standards for the practice of natural and integrative medicine in West Africa.
• Provide collaboration platforms between professionals in conventional and alternative medicine.
• Educate the public on the benefits of an integrative approach to health and wellness.

The Teaching Hospital

Our state-of-the-art Teaching Hospital serves as the primary clinical training ground for postgraduate students. It integrates conventional and natural therapies to provide comprehensive patient care and functions as a hub for clinical research.

Specialized Equipment Includes:

• Acupuncture: Needles, cupping sets, moxibustion tools, treatment couches.
• Chiropractic: Adjustment tables, X-ray access, therapy tools, anatomical spine models.
• Osteopathy: Treatment tables, diagnostic tools, rehab equipment, anatomical charts.
• Homeopathy: Pharmacy for remedies, storage systems, repertory and materia medica.
• Naturopathy: Herbal dispensary, supplements, hydrotherapy equipment.
